Modular Pipe Racks and Pipe Bridges

Modular Pipe Rack Project:

Large pipe racks (25’ w x 40’ h) support up to 27 pipelines which range in size from 2” to 36” and are built from either carbon or stainless steel. The pipe connections are mostly welded; however, Victaulic or flange connections are used on some of the lines. Most of the pipelines have fiberglass insulation and some include heat trace. Pipes are precisely placed in “racks” so that field fitting is not required. Assembly is simply a process of setting the rack, checking alignments and welding. This result: Improved quality and cost savings.

Some of the materials piped include air, filtered water, process water, city water, denatured alcohol, steam, steam condensate, process vapors, stillage, beer, sodium hydroxide, cooling water supply and cooling water return. Pipe welds were radiographed according to ASME Section 9, B31.1 specifications.
All pipe rack modules were designed to be easily transported and installed.
