About Bullard Company

While a lot has changed since Leonard C. Bullard, Jr., P.E. founded Bullard Company out of his basement in 1981; our core service has always been welding. And while Bullard Company did most of its welding in the field, we did fabricate platforms, ducts, structural steel, pipe supports and process pipe in our old 5,000 square foot shop on Centennial Rd (Toledo). However, shop welding was done primarily in support of our construction services.

In early 2006, Len decided to build a new building with 15,000 square feet for fabrication. His goal was to make fabrication a “stand alone” business – complementary with, but not reliant on contracting. Our initial goal was to build the fabrication business on the products which we had been building for 26 years – pipe spools, modular skids and equipment platforms.

But then a funny thing happened. As our building was starting to go up, a local fabricator near Toledo closed unexpectedly. As we were familiar with this fabricator, we hired their key personnel. By doing so, Bullard Company brought in years of experience with a new product line – liquid transfer systems and fall prevention equipment. And it turns out, this equipment line is a great fit for Bullard Company because it provides another opportunity to do what we do best – weld!

Bullard Company is now able to provide our customers with the ability to order one product, one service or any combination of products and services with confidence. Confidence that only comes from knowing we have been successful – one project at a time – for 26 years.

As you can see, Bullard Company does more than weld. For more details on all that we offer, please visit both our Fabricated Products and Construction & Installation Services pages.
